History of Rubik's Cube

Developing of Rubik Cube's origin is from 2 x 2 x 2 cube invented by Larry Nichols ,in 1970. Nicholus ' 2 x 2 x 2 cube was licensed to Canadina patent and USA. patent . This cube is made of magnetic.In 1970 Frank Fox invented shperical 3 x 3 x 3 and applied to patent his invention . In 1974 he received UK patent.
Around 1974, Erno Rubik,Hungarian sculture and professor of Academy of Applied Arts and Crafts in Budapest, at Department of Interior Design . To teaching his students about 3D objects. He imagined to make new invention ,called Magic Cube. licensed by Hungarian patent. He produced and sold at toys shop in Budapest. Later Rubik cube was spread to Western world. At International toys fairs of London,New York,Paris, Rubik cube was sold and spread all Europe and America.
Ideal Toys manufacture a lighter cube and rename it " The Gordian Knot" and "Inca Gold"but finally Ideal Toys changed to call it "Rubik's Cube" until now.
In addition to 3 X 3 x3 Rubik's cube , It produced other model . For example 4 x 4 x 4 (Master cube) , 5 x 5 x 5 ( Professor's cube ), 6 x 6 x 6( V-Cube 6) and 7 x 7 x 7 (V-Cube7).
At now there are Rubik's Cube competition tournament all country . To make good record are winner. Owner of the world record of 3 x 3 x 3 Rubik's cube is Erik Akkersdijk . He has a best time of 7.08 seconds in Czech Open tournament 2008.
Rubik cube is one of Toys & Games . Like chess , legos sets , It gives you intelligence.

History of Jigsaw puzzle.

I used to read about history of Jigsaw Puzzle. It was produced by a London engraver and mapmaker ,John spilsbury, in 1760. By cutting around boarder of country in map madeing of a hardwood . Resulting is educational tool for teaching geography to British children . and called it "dissection". In 1880, by using fretsaw people change calling"dissiction" to calling "Jigsaw Puzzles".

Later , manufacture change to use plywood instead hardwood ,glued on the front of wood, pencil tracings at the end of century. In the late 1800's cardboard puzzles were introduced and used for child puzzles until the 20th century die-cut was introduced.
In the early 1900's both card and wooden jigsaw were available. But wooden jigsaw puzzles were bought and played more than cardboard puzzles. Because wooden jigsaw puzzles more durable, other reason was manufacture trying to sell wooden jigsaw puzzles due to it make more profitable.
The Golden of jigsaw puzzles were in the 1920s and 1930s. Developing new technologies in rail and shipping including new marketing strategies were reason that jigsaw spread over in England and USA.
In addition to, those time was Depression but jigsaw puzzle sold so well . Because jigsaw puzzle was entertainment tool that was not highly price. People can buy it. Other reason it can be recyclable by passing to friend or family member.
